Outside

This afternoon we opened up all the windows and screen doors to let the fresh air in. Sometimes A/C is a godsend and sometimes it bugs the crap out of me. Today, I needed fresh air. We went over to our apartment complex's sad excuse for a park and Ingrid toddled around in the grass and played ball with Cody. I think he is finally getting used to her and accepting that she's not going anywhere. And if she continues to play catch with him, I think he'll warm up to her nicely...




After that we traded the stroller for the backpack and took Cody swimming down by the lake. It smelled all lakey and summery and the birds were chirping, boats were out and about, it was just so peaceful there. Other than the trash that was everywhere--our swimming spot was apparently ground zero for the fireworks they had last Wednesday. Overall, good day!
