This week we are sharing Pippi Longstocking, by Astrid Lindgren. The copy we have is illustrated by Lauren Child, which is why I love it so much!
Tommy and Annika look suspiciously familiar...
I always loved this book as a kid, how wild and silly Pippi is. I read this to Ingrid when she was a newborn, we would read a chapter every night at bedtime and she would fall asleep in my arms as I read to her. It brings back memories just looking through it again--I can't believe she was ever that tiny and quiet...

I remember loving Pippi Longstocking as a kid, I should go back and read it again.
I just have to say OMG. lol. LAUREN CHILD AND PIPPI? Is this a library book or is it yours? I'd love to see it!
I haven't heard about Pipi Longstocking in the longest time! I remember I dressed up as her one year, and we spun this metal wire through my braids so that they would stick straight out...Lol!
