Another trip to the Cottage
This weekend we went to Delavan again. Ingrid wore her sun bonnet and even dipped her toes in the water.

Ingrid meets the Wevers
This weekend Brendan and I took Ingrid to meet my side of the family in Michigan. After a long drive we made it to Grandma Pam's house. We were very happy to get a full night's sleep thanks to her! Saturday we had Grandpa's 80th birthday extravaganza, where the whole family got together, ate lots of food, looked at old pictures, and watched the kids play and sing and dance. It was also Grandma and Grandpa's 60th wedding anniversary! So much to celebrate. Ingrid did very well, she was passed along amongst all the aunts that were scratching their baby itches. She got to meet her new cousin Sophia, who is only 5 months older than her but weighs about 12 lbs more than she does! It was a crazy and fun time and she took it all in stride like the great baby she is.

Ingrid is one month old!
Today Ingrid went to the doctor for her one month check up. She is 22 3/4 inches long and 10 lbs. Which puts her in the 95th percentile for height and the 75th percentile for weight. She's not getting the tall skinny thing from me, must be a Liddle trait...
Also, more presents to be worn--the fish dress is from the Paynes, who just welcomed baby #2 Camryn Elizabeth. And, the other night we went to the old neighborhood and walked around by the lake. Ingrid liked the breeze. Maybe someday we'll live in Bay View again. I hope so.

Storms and Clothes
This past week Ingrid experienced her first thunderstorm. We were at David and Karin's and she did just fine. She also got a chance this week to wear some of her presents from people.
The pink and white dress is from Diane, thank you so much. And the Mysterio shirt is from Christy and Andy, which predicted she'll be a professional bowler. Coming from Milwaukee that's pretty fitting. And finally, a video of her bouncing on Daddy's knee. She loves this, as you can see from the stoned look on her face... Again, she is growing so fast and changing so much!

Baths and sleeping problems
Here's a picture of Ingrid in her new bathtub. She liked it better than the sink where it was all slippery and I felt like I was going to drop her. She still has a screamy face but she's young. She'll get used to being bathed...
The past couple days Ingrid has been having lots of problems with sleeping. But haha, baby, we will not be bested!! She sleeps in the front pack, so mom can get stuff done around the house, and we figured out she likes her vibrating chair at night a lot better than the crib. So after a whopping four hours of sleep in a row!! mom is refreshed this morning.
Yesterday our friend Tia came over for a photo shoot with our little ham. Ingrid was neckid and peed all over me twice. But I'm sure the pictures will be fantastic. I'll post some when I get the cd from Tia. She's an amazing photographer for anyone in the Milwaukee area needing wedding/maternity/baby pictures. Hire her!

Ingrid grows every day
Ingrid lost her umbilical cord stump last night. And by lost, I mean that quite literally. Brendan had her and it was late at night and when I asked him about it this morning he had no clue what he did with it. Makes me think of Sex and the City when Miranda's cat eats her baby's stump. Hopefully Fletcher and Frances don't find it...
So this morning Ingrid had her first real bath in the sink. She didn't much care for it, although there was less screaming than with her sponge baths. She liked her hair getting washed but I think it was too cold for her overall. Oh well, summer's coming up and it will be nice and warm.
She wore overalls today, making her look so big. Crazy how much she's changed in just two weeks!!

Ingrid has a busy few days
This past week Ingrid had a lot to do. We visited Brendan at work, Aunt Corie came to visit, she went to a restaurant for the first time, she helped beautify the neighborhood, and she had her first cookout. She still doesn't know night from day, though, so she slept through most of her firsts, and then stayed up at night when Mom and Dad wanted to sleep...
