Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Ingrid has had a great first Christmas so far. Last night we hung out in the living room, listening to Christmas carols.

This morning she had a great time opening presents. Although all she wanted to do was eat the paper.

But didn't care so much for the train that Daddy tried to play with. It scared her.

Baby Burrito

We usually lay a blanket out for Ingrid to play on, and this morning she rolled around so much, she wrapped herself right up in it, toys and all!

Ingrid Goes to Michigan

We took Ingrid to Ann Arbor this week to check things out. We stayed at a cool hotel, Weber's Inn. If you come visit us, stay there, it's really nice!
Ingrid loved the king sized bed, although we weren't watching her close enough and she rolled right off it...Parent of the year award is coming our way, I can feel it!

She also loved the pool. She sat on the edge and kicked her feet, and layed on her stomach and splashed with her arms. I think we have a natural swimmer on our hands.


Other events from this week: Ingrid can now fake sneeze. It's really cute, she closes her eyes and coughs. I'll have to try to get it on video. Also, she is shaking her head, so every time you ask her a question she shakes no. She is seven months old today and is getting more and more fun. I can't wait to get into our new apartment so she has room to roam!!

Ingrid the Bathing Beauty

We got some more clothes from Ava Picard and in the box was a bathing suit. We are going to a hotel with a pool next week, so we needed it! She looks so chubby in these pictures :)

Presents from Everyone!!

Ingrid has been getting presents galore already, and it's not even Christmas!! Brooke sent us a package from England. Ingrid liked to chew on the paper.


Our old neighbors Jodi and Rene got us a gift card for Target and we used it to buy Ingrid a bouncy play seat thingy. It's pretty cool because it's not as huge as some of the others, and Ingrid just loves it! Now I don't have to worry about her rolling under the couch or getting into the wires :)

Ingrid's Weekend

This weekend was super busy. Ingrid hung out in her swing. Quite literally.

We also tried a ponytail in her hair, which everyone tells us to do because she has that big chunk in the back. Hmm, not really her style, I don't think.

We also braved the cold to take Cody on his walk in the snow. Ingrid could care less that it's snowy and 10 degrees. She does not get that from me...

She was also very social this weekend. We went to see the Madison folks at Diane's house. She loved Diane's boxer Jack.

Ingrid's First Thanksgiving

We had a very mellow Thanksgiving this year. Ingrid hung out downstairs and played in the living room so she could be near the action. She also sat at the table with us while we ate and tried to eat the tablecloth. I gave her some mashed potatoes but she didn't like all the salt! Maybe next year...
